About Us

Our beginnings

The Condo Directors Group (CDG) was formed in Ottawa, by and for condo directors, in 2013. Its membership is limited to serving condo directors.

Membership is free.

Mission Statement

The CDG's mission is to help its members manage their individual condo operations effectively, efficiently and in compliance with their statutory obligations.

The CDG does so by providing its members with a forum to meet, network and learn from one another on a range of condo-related topics of common interest.

Meetings

The CDG membership meets on a quarterly basis, usually in March, June, September and November. Directors are invited to share their successes and challenges in order to leverage their common knowledge, skill and experience.

The scheduling, topic and location of our meetings are emailed directly to our members.

Our Team

Rod Escayola

Rod co-founded the CDG. He has been on OCSCC 696's board since 2009. He is a condo lawyer with Gowling WLG and the editor of Condo Adviser.

Janine Hutt

Janine co-founded the CDG. She served on the CCC 289 board of directors for many years, including as president. Janine retired from public service.

Michael Kelly

Michael has been on the CDG's leadership's team since its inception. He served on CCC 289's board of directors for some 35 years! He is a retired economist.

Angela Augsbury

Angela has been on the CDG's leadership's team since its inception. She served on the OCSCC 711 board for numerous years, including as president. Angela is a Real Estate Broker with Coldwell Banker Rhodes and Company.

Charles Davies

Chuck has been on the board of OCSCC 882, off and, for many years, including as its president. He is a retired military officer and public servant.
